Day 5

Did you know your body weight fluctuates between 2-4 pounds a day? This morning I was at 168.8. I work today and tomorrow so I'll be able to check the scale again Tuesday Morning when I get home. We'll see what happens then. Hopefully I'll get some good workouts in between then.

One reason why we are lighter in the mornings is because we lose water weight while we sleep. It's not just going and relieving yourself in the bathroom in the morning. Apparently, we lose some water through sweating during the night and also moisture that escapes during breathing. What's amazing is that it amounts to up to 2 litres a night! So during the night you can lose those 2-4 lbs! Wowzers.

Well, hopefully the fluctuations later on will be in the lower numbers. When I start hitting 166-168 I'll feel happy about progressing. Let's see if we can get that within the next week.
