Just so everyone knows....

To keep everyone safe for the next time, here is a complete listing of all the rules for flag football. The point is to have as minimal physical contact as possible to avoid any serious injuries. Not everyone was clear on that this go around, but maybe after reviewing these rules we can have a fun and safe game. And hopefully no one will have to miss work, service, life etc...

Anyway, on a happier note Nacho night was pretty fun. Here's some shots taken while I could still jump and prance around like a crasssy man. Oh yeah, Ariels place was fun too but didn't get any pics of that. Would have been cool getting shots of the DDR and Guitar hero though.... Oh wells, maybe next time.

What's going on here!!!

Well, well, well.... It's been a long time since I rock and roll!!!! OH wait, that's a song and this is a blog. So let me start... Hmm.. What to say nothing much has really been happening. Except for maybe in the last couple of weeks we went...

Ice Skating.

Jensen

James

And Levi's New GIRLFRIEND!!!! Audra

Of course we've been doing lots of volleyball and beach time. But we've also got to visit with some old friends.

This is Mitchel Siverson back up from Ecuador. Eating with Sister Chaffee at CRAZY Buffet.

Then there was some action at the Mountain Dew Tour. Tony was able to get Ryan Shecklers autograph.

But it wasn't all fun. We were able to manage doing some "Work" at the Kingdom Hall building in Palm Coast.

But we got to see some awesome slides from Ecuador from Brother Simonelli. Brother Kidd came up too. So that was a good experience.

Tony and I

Myself, Tony, Nancy, Nick, and Brother Kidd. Gianna and Jairus are in the back.

It's too bad that the next day a car hit and ran us from behind as we were pulling back into the Kingdom Hall. If it weren't for my Dad's crazy drift control we'd have gone into the wall. Look at the tracks closely, we came about six inches from the wall at the corner.

Fortunately, a guy that was following the guy that hit us saw what happened and chased him down and the troopers were able to nab the dude and bring him back...in handcuffs in the cop car. It was actually pretty funny though. As we were coming back to the hall, Deshon was in the front and I was in the back. It was kinda cool and overcast so Deshon says, "Man, todays a day that you can just fall asleep."
"Yeah" I said as I close my eyes into la la land as I hear the clicks of my dads turn signal going off.....BOOM!!! While he turns in to the Hall the guy slams into the back of us, making us go into a crazy drift towards the wall. Then my dad goes into counter steer mode, avoids the wall, and I look behind the window just to see the back end of the truck go by. We kinda sat there for a sec wondering what just happened and then was like "Is that guy not gonna stop?". So we hurry out and look down the road and he's gone! Two brothers in the hall were in the parking lot and saw what happened and they said that the guy just sped up and bolted after he hit us. I can't really quote EXACTLY what the witness behind us said, but it was something like this, "Yeah that guy hauled "Tail" (expletive deleted)after he hit you guys". Hahaha funny. Anyway, at least were here to tell the tale and no further damage was done to like the wall and stuff.

So yeah, not too much been going on here... And then tomorrow night we have......

NACHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Hahah yeah so good times. Anyhizzle, stay safe and take care and see ya'll on the flipside. Peaceage!

Is it THAT time of year again????

Happy Anniversary!!!! What really is an anniversary? Well according to Wikipedia -"An anniversary (from the Latin anniversarius, from the words for year and to turn, meaning (re)turning yearly; known in English since c. 1230) is a day that commemorates and/or celebrates a past event that occurred on the same day of the year as the initial event"

So many things start going on this time of year. People getting ready for Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and of course, who can forget Christmas. So with all of these shenanigans around isn't there anything else to remember at this time that's NOT of pagan origin?

Well, I guess by next year we can say how much of a share we had in the special Kingdom News Campaign. A year from now will be the anniversary of the the Kingdom Hall in Palm Coast being completed. Or maybe there could be some kind of event that happens that changes yours or someone elses life, and then you remember that date so that you can reflect on what happened and see what kind of effect it made on you. You can ask yourself-"What have I done since then?, Have I changed?, Did I improve myself for the better?, Have I helped others in the process?"

Yeah, I think that finding your own special "Anniversary" helps you to commemorate things in the past, whether good or bad, so that you don't forget them in order to improve your lot in life. People do that all the time especially when it comes to some disatsters. The World Trade Centers, Hurricanes, Tsunamis, Space Shuttles exploding, you name it, it's all remembered and given due respect and thought when that time of year comes around when the event happened.

So what do YOU remember about last year?? What will you remember for next? And most importantly, what will you/have you done between then and now, and now and then, to improve yourself for the better and those around you? And an anniversary isn't always a joyful time. Imagine how hard it is for people that have lost loved ones in death when that year comes around again. But then again, when you think of that person, sometimes you remember how they made you feel. And then you remember how happy you were and how happy they would be if they knew that you were doing things to make yourself better despite stressful situations. So you see, even bad things can have wonderful outcomes.

There are so many negative things out there that can bring you down. But don't let that stop you. This is just a little reminder out there that things get better and there's always something good to look forward to. Today was such a great day and I can't wait til next year to remember what good things were done during that time. Is that how you try to look at life from day to day? You should try it and see what good things results.

So what kind of Anniversary will YOU be celebrating next year? HOPEFULLY......It will be a good one. BUT....If you think positively, I'm certain that it will be a GREAT one. So Happy Anniversary everyone!!!

The Portrait of the Teacher Idealist (eNFj)
RATIONAL
ARTISAN
IDEALIST
GUARDIAN
Copyrighted © 1996-2006 Prometheus Nemesis Book Company

The Idealists called Teachers are abstract in their thought and speech, cooperative in their style of achieving goals, and directive and extraverted in their interpersonal relations. Learning in the young has to be beckoned forth, teased out from its hiding place, or, as suggested by the word "education," it has to be "educed." by an individual with educative capabilities. Such a one is the eNFj, thus rightly called the educative mentor or Teacher for short. The Teacher is especially capable of educing or calling forth those inner potentials each learner possesses. Even as children the Teachers may attract a gathering of other children ready to follow their lead in play or work. And they lead without seeming to do so.
Teachers expect the very best of those around them, and this expectation, usually expressed as enthusiastic encouragement, motivates action in others and the desire to live up to their expectations. Teachers have the charming characteristic of taking for granted that their expectations will be met, their implicit commands obeyed, never doubting that people will want to do what they suggest. And, more often than not, people do, because this type has extraordinary charisma.
The Teachers are found in no more than 2 or 3 percent of the population. They like to have things settled and arranged. They prefer to plan both work and social engagements ahead of time and tend to be absolutely reliable in honoring these commitments. At the same time, Teachers are very much at home in complex situations which require the juggling of much data with little pre-planning. An experienced Teacher group leader can dream up, effortlessly, and almost endlessly, activities for groups to engage in, and stimulating roles for members of the group to play. In some Teachers, inspired by the responsiveness of their students or followers, this can amount to genius which other types find hard to emulate. Such ability to preside without planning reminds us somewhat of an Provider, but the latter acts more as a master of ceremonies than as a leader of groups. Providers are natural hosts and hostesses, making sure that each guest is well looked after at social gatherings, or that the right things are expressed on traditional occasions, such as weddings, funerals, graduations, and the like. In much the same way, Teachers value harmonious human relations about all else, can handle people with charm and concern, and are usually popular wherever they are. But Teachers are not so much social as educational leaders, interested primarily in the personal growth and development of others, and less in attending to their social needs.
Mikhail Gorbachev is an example of a Teacher Idealist.

Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging by Joe Butt
Profile: ENFJRevision: 3.0Date of Revision: 23 Feb 2005
ENFJs are the benevolent 'pedagogues' of humanity. They have tremendous charisma by which many are drawn into their nurturant tutelage and/or grand schemes. Many ENFJs have tremendous power to manipulate others with their phenomenal interpersonal skills and unique salesmanship. But it's usually not meant as manipulation -- ENFJs generally believe in their dreams, and see themselves as helpers and enablers, which they usually are.
ENFJs are global learners. They see the big picture. The ENFJs focus is expansive. Some can juggle an amazing number of responsibilities or projects simultaneously. Many ENFJs have tremendous entrepreneurial ability.
ENFJs are, by definition, Js, with whom we associate organization and decisiveness. But they don't resemble the SJs or even the NTJs in organization of the environment nor occasional recalcitrance. ENFJs are organized in the arena of interpersonal affairs. Their offices may or may not be cluttered, but their conclusions (reached through feelings) about people and motives are drawn much more quickly and are more resilient than those of their NFP counterparts.
ENFJs know and appreciate people. Like most NFs, (and Feelers in general), they are apt to neglect themselves and their own needs for the needs of others. They have thinner psychological boundaries than most, and are at risk for being hurt or even abused by less sensitive people. ENFJs often take on more of the burdens of others than they can bear.
TRADEMARK: "The first shall be last"
This refers to the open-door policy of ENFJs. One ENFJ colleague always welcomes me into his office regardless of his own circumstances. If another person comes to the door, he allows them to interrupt our conversation with their need. While discussing that need, the phone rings and he stops to answer it. Others drop in with a 'quick question.' I finally get up, go to my office and use the call waiting feature on the telephone. When he hangs up, I have his undivided attention!
Functional Analysis:
Extraverted Feeling
Extraverted Feeling rules the ENFJ's psyche. In the sway of this rational function, these folks are predisposed to closure in matters pertaining to people, and especially on behalf of their beloved. As extraverts, their contacts are wide ranging. Face-to-face relationships are intense, personable and warm, though they may be so infrequently achieved that intimate friendships are rare.
Introverted iNtuition
Like their INFJ cousins, ENFJs are blessed through introverted intuition with clarity of perception in the inner, unconscious world. Dominant Feeling prefers to find the silver lining in even the most beggarly perceptions of those in their expanding circle of friends and, of course, in themselves. In less balanced individuals, such mitigation of the unseemly eventually undermines the ENFJ's integrity and frequently their good name. In healthier individuals, deft use of this awareness of the inner needs and desires of others enables this astute type to win friends, influence people, and avoid compromising entanglements.
The dynamic nature of their intuition moves ENFJs from one project to another with the assurance that the next one will be perfect, or much more nearly so than the last. ENFJs are continually looking for newer and better solutions to benefit their extensive family, staff, or organization.
Extraverted Sensing
Sensing is extraverted. ENFJs can manage details, particularly those necessary to implement the prevailing vision. These data have, however, a magical flexible quality. Something to be bought can be had for a song; the same something is invaluable when it's time to sell. (We are not certain, but we suspect that such is the influence of the primary function.) This wavering of sensory perception is made possible by the weaker and less mature status with which the tertiary is endowed.
Introverted Thinking
Introverted Thinking is least apparent and most enigmatic in this type. In fact, it often appears only when summoned by Feeling. At times only in jest, but in earnest if need be, Thinking entertains as logical only those conclusions which support Feeling's values. Other scenarios can be shown invalid or at best significantly inferior. Such "Thinking in the service of Feeling" has the appearance of logic, but somehow it never quite adds up.
Introverted Thinking is frequently the focus of the spiritual quest of ENFJs. David's lengthiest psalm, 119, pays it homage. "Law," "precept," "commandment," "statute:" these essences of inner thinking are the mysteries of Deity for which this great Feeler's soul searched.
Famous ENFJs:
David, King of IsraelU.S. Presidents: Abraham Lincoln Ronald Reagan William Cullen Bryant, poet Abraham Maslow, psychologist and proponent of self-actualization Ross Perot Sean Connery Elizabeth Dole Francois Mitterand Dick Van Dyke Andy Griffith James Garner William Aramony, former president of United Way Gene Hackman (Superman, Antz) Dennis Hopper (Speed) Brenda Vaccaro Craig T.
