Another late night!
My goodness.... Every time I try and get a good nights rest I end up staying up anyway. Might as well use this time to post.....
Anyway, just booked my flight to New Orleans for this Wednesday. I come back Saturday night. I would like to say it's going to be a great trip to head back to the hometown for some stereotypical N'awlins fun, but I'm going with my parents for a funeral.
It's a good thing we got to see my Uncle when we went up to Mississippi just under a month ago while we were around there for Rachels wedding. Who knew he was going to go this fast huh? To be honest, I really didn't want to think of him 'dying' while we were there. He seemed pretty good actually, walking around and living life pretty normally. The fact that he was constantly on Oxygen and had legs that were smaller than the size of my arms didn't really phase me into thinking that he was in such a bad situation. Not being bed ridden I figured he was stable..... Oh well, I'm glad my parents got to see him at least.
At least I was able to book my flight there with my parents. I was even able to get seats in the same row as them lol. Cool huh? Well, I hope to get some nice pics of the City while I'm there. I definitely want to get a good trip in again to New Orleans on a brighter note. In the meantime here's a pic of the last time we were all together with the family.
Thanks a lot Uncle Eusebio, you have a lot of family that loves you very much.....We'll miss you
